* I guess I like it a lot: [[V-Rally 4 is Special]]
* Surprisingly good simcade rally game
* I'm only recently into rally games, such as Dirt Rally 2.0, but it seems like DR2 owes some of its choices to this game
* The team simulation elements, where you can recruit better talent, which that gives you better car upgrades but costs more, and team salary you have to pay every in-game week, is a pleasantly engaging way to make your races feel like they mean something
* This is how arcade/simcade driving games should feel. The sense of speed feels fast and the hookup from dirt to tarmac just feels so good. Looking at you, Forza Horizon, Test Drive Unlimited, The Crew Motorfest, Need For Speed, etc.
* Try WRC 5-10 + Generations, also by Kylotonn/Bigben (now Nacon SA) if you want more of the taste of what V-Rally 4 brought to rally racing
** I have tried WRC 6, 7, and Generations, so far, and 6 is the best experience out of the box. 7 introduces odd steering issues. Generations is manageable. I haven't tried the others yet.
