Racing Sims Multiplayer vs Singleplayer Success: Pick One
- I've been thinking about sim success, ranked multiplayer marketshare, and commitment to realism 
- Seems to me LMU and iRacing are succeeding at ranked multiplayer because sim racers want to feel their win is as real as possible
- ACC before that
- Sims like AMS2 and R3E seem desperate for multiplayer users but it's an 80/20 thing and the 80's already been taken
- They should focus on what other sims aren't, such as single player features like gridding and massively improving adaptive AI

GTR2 Real Weather:
- Known Issue: GTR2 will always move the track temperature to +10C of ambient temperature
  - Would be nice if we could force in Minute{}s or change GTR2 to a higher delta eg. +20C

Sim FFB Clipping:
- This is a rough table of how far you have to dial FFB strength back in-game to avoid ffb clipping at the wheel.
- Even when you set sim's to 100% FFB strength in-game, they are overshooting and causing your wheel to put out more strength than you think
- Ex. I set my SimuCube 2 Pro to 12Nm and discovered LMU must be set to 70% FFB strength in-game to avoid ffb clipping
- Note: Some cars may have built-in ffb levels that cause clipping even after adjustments. In other words, a universal fix may not be entirely possible.
- LMU: 70%
  - Default FFB: No FFB mods
- GTR: 90%, 95%, 92%, 94%
  - Modded FFB: RealFeel FFB, probably SHO FFB impacted as well
- R3E: 90%

- GTR2 Brakes Lock Up Too Easy ie. No ABS
  - Heavier load cell style brakes will help. My brakes actually require a bit of effort to get to 100% and that helps alleviate brake lock-up because it really requires intentionality to get that much braking pressure.
  - Alternatively, you can modify Brake Sensitivity in-game to lower than 50% (try 25%) which will give you more pedal throw length to push into before the actual braking pressure reaches over 50%. 
    - GTR2's 25% Brake Sensitivity is similar to iRacing default 1.80x Brake Force Factor which is designed to help throw-length-based, potentiometer pedal users because they have almost no muscle pressure to gauge brake pressure by.

- VenueName: Lead with keyword in name ie. Imola not Autodromo di Imola
- Practice1/Practice2Duration: Set 90:00. Some GDBs come with unusually low values which don't give you enough practice time.
- RoadBump*: Comment out so that Specialfx.tec takes over ie. less/no artificial bumps
- Region: North/Central/South (probably for skies)
- Latitude: Find via Google Maps
- RaceDate: Peak racing month1
