Raising Seat Height
- Insert metal washers between track and cockpit base where it is bolted together
- M8x45mm Hex Head Bolts
- 3x 1" Metal flat washers, ~1/4" Inner Diameter
- Or 3x 1-1/4" Metal flat washers (~1/4" Inner Diameter)
- Three of these is roughly 1/4" of added height. It's actually very noticeable as a little extra height at the eye means a greater vertical angle at the monitor's distance.
- I had to abandon the lock washers to make 3 fit. I am ordering longer bolts to properly accommodate everything needed.
- Bonus: Buy longer M8x100mm or longer bolts to increase the washers you can insert and therefore the height you can gain
- I bought M8x100mm and M8x150mm on Amazon for a decent price. Probably could've/should've bought cheaper at Home Hardware or Home Depot.
