Controller Settings
Tested on PS5 with DualShock 4 controllers
- Steering Sensitivity: 12
- Reduces overly twitchy steering
- Throttle Saturation: 136
- More than 100 decreases throttle actuation which provides more trigger travel at low throttle which can help better judge low speed throttling
- One case I solved by doing this was the backend spinning out around corners due to throttling too high because I had so little travel to judge the throttle by. By having more travel, I can better judge how much throttle I'm applying.
- Brake Saturation: 123
- More than 100 decreases brake actuation which provides more trigger travel at low throttle which can help better judge low speed braking
- I found it difficult to avoid lockup under heavy braking until I raised this
